Welcome to the School of Rock Mamaroneck Summer Camp! This
camp is like our regular program condensed into 5 inspiring days!
Students will put together a set of songs and put on a show! Believe it
or not, Green Day has been a band for over 25 YEARS! From their humble
beginnings as part of the Bay Area punk rock scene in the late 80’s and
early 90’s, which they represented even through the break out success of
their major label debut, Dookie. A few albums later, they released
their rock opera, American Idiot, which introduced and popularized them
with a younger generation. The students of the Green Day Summer Camp
will celebrate their entire catalog.
All guitar & bass students, have them bring their instrument to camp. Drum students just should bring a pair of drum sticks. Vocals and keys are good to go, as is. Packed lunch for each day, except on Friday we will be ordering pizza for them.
Friday at the end of camp at 3pm, the kids will perform the set that they have learned and put together within the 5 days. Show will be around 30-40 minutes or so depending how many songs they get finished and ready to go. Please feel free to invite anyone that you'd like to come!
